I was born in Christchurch and raised on a farm on the West Coast of the South Island. I graduated from Massey University School of Fine Arts, Wellington. A general curiosity about all things, and a habit of walking and wonder, has sharpened my appreciation for the importance of architecture and urban design on our everyday lives. Over the years my practice has evolved into a more focused exploration of New Zealand architecture and the built environment, both through personal book projects, and professionally for many of New Zealand’s leading architects.
